Privacy & cookies

When you browse

You can browse our catalog without an account or payment. Your visits generate server logs containing your IP address, browser, the pages you request, and the time of your visit. We and our hosting provider use these to keep the website running and secure, based on our legitimate interest in operating the website.

These logs are usually kept for around two weeks. They’re separate from optional cookies.

Your cookie choice

Cookies are small files stored on your device. If you select “Accept cookies,” Google Analytics uses them to recognise your browser and measure visits. It collects information about your device, approximate location, how you found the site, pages and products you view, and Messenger-link clicks. This helps us understand how you and other visitors use the website.

Your messages and private order details aren’t sent to Google Analytics.

You can decline and use the website as usual. Google Analytics stays off until you accept; browsing or scrolling doesn’t count as consent. Your choice is remembered on this browser for 180 days.

You can withdraw your consent anytime through “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of the page. Selecting “Decline cookies” stops further collection by Google Analytics and removes its cookies from this site. It doesn’t erase information already collected.

Our retention period for detailed visitor and activity information in Google Analytics is set to 14 months. Summary reports may remain longer. Its cookies normally expire after two years and may be renewed when you return. Google may process your information outside the Philippines. See Google’s privacy policy.

When you open Messenger

When you select a Messenger link, you open Facebook or Messenger, where Meta’s privacy policy applies.

This notice covers browsing this website and contacting us about privacy. It doesn’t cover order or delivery records. Your cookie choice applies only to Google Analytics on this website.

Your privacy rights

You can request access to or correction of your personal information. Where applicable, you can also request deletion or blocking, or object to its use. For privacy questions or requests, email uni.magical.lit@gmail.com. If you have concerns about how your information is handled, you can also raise them with the National Privacy Commission.

We use your email and request details to respond and handle your privacy request. These emails are kept for 12 months after the request is resolved, unless a dispute or legal obligation requires longer. Our email provider may process them outside the Philippines.

We’ll update this notice if our practices change. If we introduce a new purpose that needs your consent, we’ll ask you first.
